It's only my second open water, so don't expect too much from the swim.

I'm told it's heavy traffic on the bike, though, which favours me admirably.

I love traffic  .

Er.

Portobello.

That's Embra, for you geographically challenged southern types.

2x Up North, to be more accurate. lol

You gotta forgive him, Sam (R) - he's from London, so probably thought you were going to do it round a market!

Mind you, I admit I was in another group staring at a mushroom and wondering

Please Miss! *waves hand* I know where Portobello is, 'coz I've been there!

I did a Scottish Highland Dancing competition there when I was a child

Hope your triathlon goes well.

I'll be in the land of my fathers, possibly catching some of the Grand Prix of Wales.

Will the hovercraft trials have finished by then?

Hovercraft trial finishes this coming weekend.

I might be around, I might not, and I might have parents staying and might not, and I might be in Glentress with my brother and might not.

5th August is somewhat 'uncertain' at the mo. But if I AM around Portobello is a mere 2 minutes by bicycle from my house.
