I see Ms Barnes of this parish has reached Brest.

"est passé le 22/08 à 15h25 à BREST (7)"

I do hope the weather is somewhat kinder over there than it is in Norfolk right now!

It's looking patchy. Blooming long ride that!

Isn't one supposed to bomb submarine pens when in Brest?

I hope they don't return via that bloody great climb out of the valley at Landerneau. I'm still shaking from chasing a 9 year old up it when I was carrying the family camping gear about 15 years back. Got a huge round of applause from the local peasantry at the top! :claps: :claps:

As of now, it would seem Charlotte is almost there as

est passé le 24/08 à 10h34 à DREUX (14)

Stage 15 is the final stage.

I hope she makes it! What an achievement! Come on Charlotte! Chapeau, chapeau and thrice chapeau!

Hurrah!

I'd buy her champagne except she doesn't drink alcohol!

I've already offered her the teetotallers equivalent - a nice warm hand shandy. But I don't think she's that thirsty

From the web site:-

est arrivé le 24/08 à 15h31 à SAINT QUENTIN (15)

That's one hell of a ride.

It appears that everyone we know is busy helping Mr Larrington who ended up in hospital & didn't know where his kit was. Don't panic, it appears to have been sorted by Hummers, Charlotte & some postings on ACF by Fatters. (Info from a post on CTC).
