Tomorrow I'm competing in the East Fife Triathlon.

Hope it doesn't snow :? .

Just seen this so everything crossed and ready to jump in the Tardis.

So? How did it go? Are you recovering, celebrating or both?

I has been snoozing!

I'll post a proper write up later. I'm just trying to get the photos sorted.

At least it didn't snow!

Glad you're back and rested.

Disappointing, really. I lost a lot of time on the bike leg because some sod tightened my helmet (so I spent half of the first lap trying to get it to go on my damned head) and put stones in my shoes  . I think it was local kids. The transition wasn't exactly policed.

My goal was to go faster than last year and I was about a minute slower. The offroad run was incredibly muddy and treacherous and my swim was really slow for me. Every so often you have a bad day and I was having a bad day (shouldn't have still been faffing trying to find my racing sports bra at half past midnight, really  ). I think this was partially because my routine was put off by my standard pre-race banana being so green as to be inedible :bleurgh: :disapprove:  . Also the road was so bad that I got whitefinger. In my crotch. Peregrine is no longer speaking to me :c+sad: .

But the sun came out so it wasn't all bad.

Still, well done that woman. You may feel as if you had a bad day, but you completed it and didn't ditch. Chapeau!
