This needs no introduction. The legend, the myth, the lumps of sheep poo in your snorkel: Bog Snorkelling!

Bog Mountain Biking, an underwater ride on weighted bikes, July 8th

Bog Triathlon, with a bog leg, an offroad bike leg and an offroad run leg, and the possibility of relay teams, July 9th

Bog snorkelling, the classic 120-yard flollop through the mire, August 28th

All in lovely Wales. Entries being accepted now. Who's up for it?

Should this be in Team League Sorority, or don't you think we'd be competitive?

Please to be moving it - I think we could stump up a competitive team!

Moved, as per request.

Although you could have done that yourself, you know.

So, did you do it then?

I did it last year and the year before. I came 2nd in the tri last year and 4th the year before, just missing out on a crate of beer on both occasions. It wasn't quite as impressive as that as there were only eleven entrants last year, not including the relay teams. It's really tough. It feels like army training. I find it mad that thousands of people pay extortionate prices to take part in the Tough Guy where the weight of numbers means you have to queue to go through the obstacles, and hardly anyone comes to this.

The run looked too long so I wussed out. It's definitely going on my fixture list for next year, especially as one of the TriTalk lads won it. It looks filthy and bonkers!
