And no, I don't mean I'm going to flash my norks if I don't make it.

Not eggsackerly a League event, but I am only 800 and something miles off 5000 for the year and am determined to get there, by hook or by crook. Or by pedalling.

Careful scrutiny of Cyclogs would seem to indicate that I'm the lead Sorority Belle (or indeed girly of any description), unless people such as Frank Wagner are using cunning pseudonyms.

Anyhoo, come rain, shine, sleet or foul headwind I'll be doing my best to make this the end goal for what has been han splendiferous year of cycling.

Chuffy is 900 and something miles off 6000 for the year, so I will at least have someone to drag out with me on the 31st Dec at 9pm when I need that final 25 miles......

We were pondering the possibility of heading off to Barnstaple (and possibly back) on Sunday. Does this appeal?

I might be around if you're planning a ride this weekend.

Well, we could all meet in Crediton (somewhere) at about 10am on Sunday and head up the A377 to Barnstaple, then turn around and come back (or get the train).

Or we could go a slightly longer one way route, which might involve hilly death, or go via Eggesford or something?

I'll pm mobile numbers tomorrow.

Might I suggest the green at the top of High Street? Mostly because it's near an all-hours newsagent for first-minute chocs, and right next to my flat so I can come shambling out in a dressing gown with a strong coffee mumbling about the clocks going back... :)

(My mobile is worthless at home but you have my real number, hein?)

Ok

10.30am on the green at the top of Crediton for anyone who is interested.

There's a train back from Barnstaple at 15.08, so we should get there in ample time if anyone wishes to leap on the train instead of trundling the lovely, flat, easy route back.....

Well, I have 344 miles left to go. Daily commutes are feeling like a bit of a struggle at the moment and my average speed is weak and feeble.

Steve C has inspired me to press on though :D

Well I'm halfway there
Not bad really seeing as the mileage was only 775 at the end of July when I swapped jobs & got my life back. \:D/ \:D/

Baggy, are we going to have to take the long way round back from the pub?
