Good god what am I doing? My brother and I were talking about doing this over a couple of days, ostensibly following Sustrans 1, but 'straightening' it somewhat.

It would appear now, that on August 25th, we're going to try and do it in one go...

I think I stopped being officially 'young' a couple of years ago - my brother, at nine years younger, can retain that excuse (as well as claim much better fitness).

I guess that just leaves me being daft...

Well Pingu's done Kingbarns to Aberdeen before, so not very much further than that really.....
Hope the weather gets a bit nicer though.

Long long ago in a galaxy far, far away....
We decided to do the London-Cambridge, in those days it started from Finsbury Park but we set off from Norbury SW16. There were no B&Bs left in Cambridge :( so we rode on to Haughton & Wyton between St Ives & Huntingdon. Then the next 2 days we rode home - to Chesterfield.
