Didn't we already have a thread about that?

Am I losing the plot more than before? Should I increase my dosage?

OK, whereabouts are you going to be? Shall I send you my phone number?

Plan is - in general terms...

Vernon has two appointments with clients (both in Walthamstow). One is in the morning, & after that, we intend to 'do London' as we haven't done the culture thing (galleries.. museums..) for years. So that should take the afternoon. His second appointment is at 7.30 in the evening, so I've got to amuse myself until after that.

As I don't know London - I'm happy to be guided by those wot live darn sarf, as to the best place to meet up, drink/eat/chat/whatever. I am open to ideas.

What do you think?

OKAY

Does a venue near Kings Cross sound doable?

Me an' himself can make a meeting around 7pm til around later if it can be in that vicinity.. AKSH... Waffles if you want to meet earlier, I finish around 4/5pm so can be avail sooner for a wander somewhere... so long as we can find somewhere near KX for me an hisself to get back to S Cambs at a sensible time..

;)

I will nominate a venue unless anyone knows anything lovely in the area..

Sounds doable to me. I'm flexible on venue & will be easily led, so to speak!
I'll PM my mobile number

Suggest Weatherspoons Bar in Liverpool St Station - far more pleasant than KX area

Excellent suggestion. I'm a two minute walk away from there and should we get peckish there is a plentiful supply of finest curries moments away in Brick Lane.

Also easy to get to KX from there.

Sadly I'm not going to be around - entertaining my own lady from abroad, in the form of a friend from Manchester who needs somewhere to crash.

So Weatherspoons at Liverpool Street Station it is, then. Time? six thirty/sevenish?

Six thirty is good for me (don't want to work too late). If you would like to text me when you're nearby I can rush round there.

Have been in contact with that nice young Mr Chappell

Emilio may be able to grace us with her presence if we go for a curry.
