As a newbie to this cycling lark, my partner Shen convinced me I needed a good pair of shorts with plenty of padding. Normally a size 12, I tried on numerous pairs of shorts. Ended up purchasing a pair of Enduro shorts, I am finding that when I go out within a few rotations of the pedals the legs have ridden up. The padding is really comfy though.

Should this be happening?

I am only managing about 35 miles a week at the moment, been doing it for just over 3 weeks, but do not want to be put off by having to keep stopping and pulling down the edge of the shorts.

Any advice welcome.

Sure you don't just have the legs pulled down too low?

Enduro size 'em big. You may want to try a smaller size. Shorts should be tight.

It's not a problem, as long as the material's not bunching up, in which case you will end up with a chafed bum.
