I am pleased to announce that after Much Tinkering my Terry Tri Gel Saddle and I have just returned from a 100K Audax.

I've just realised that I'd not thought about my saddle, bum or lady parts for the entire ride. :P

I am therefore pleased to award it Benevolent Cloud status :smug:

Setting it level as opposed to nose down has made all the difference.

I thank you!

I haven't quite got to that stage yet, although I did a hilly 50 miler yesterday on the fixed and did not think about my bottom or lady parts nearly as often as I have on other saddles. So the Selle Italia Lady Gel Flow is nearly a benevolent cloud and requires just a touch more tinkering to achieve true cloudy nature.

I also did 100k yesterday and didn't have any botty problems until I was about 5k from home and I suspect that was mostly because I was so close to home. I like my lady gel flow. :)

Well, I was going to post to say "yay" for comfy saddles.

But alas, I did not mongo my saddle into position hard enough, and lo it has moved out of position, resulting in sore bot

Now I have to tinker round with it some more <sigh>.

"You know you're a real lady cyclist when..."

23) You spend more time adjusting your saddle by quarter-milimetre increments than you do riding. And it matters.
