In case that email I just sent you bounces like your activation email did, I have manually activated your account so's you can now log on.

Of course, you might not read this either, but at least I'll have tried!

Thanks.

Not at all sure why that should haver bounced unless I made a typo.

Thanks for the help though and how is Fife treating you?

As this is the intro bit.

To those of you who know me from other places, "Hello again."

to those of you who don't yet know me, "Hello."

I am not much of a cyclist these days, more a potter on the tandem with my lovely stoker.

I have moved from NE Scotland to Leicestershire to be with her. :)

I keep bees and work in the oil business offshore.

That's about it.

Shen

You missed out an "a". But apparently you have fixed it yourself. Yay for Shen!

Fife's grand, ta. How does living in Leics work with going offshore?

Livine in the shire is ok. Roads are far more busy than I am used to and I find them hmm, intimidating I think would be the word.

I fly up the night before I go so it is all very civilised. As is the return as I catch a late flight out of Aberdeen and am usually home by 11pm so not too bad. After all it's only once every 6 weeks each way. :)

Buzzz'sssss back Redshift.

We are in the back garden of Shen and his Stoker's house. We are in very upmarket accommodation namely polystyrene hives which are wonderfully warm for us to build our combs in. We are being very carefully tended and in return are thinking of possibly letting him have a comb or two of honey. We started out as a pretty small outfit but are getting bigger now every day.

More sun would be nice. :)

the bees......

Oh the "Stoker" would rather like to join too, we heard her say so yesterday.

'Lo Shen!

I think the Stoker should join. Good for the stoker!

But the bees will need joint membership... Think as a unit, join as a unit.. 8)

Hi all

Shen's stoker here. I did think about joining with the bees as a whole but thought otherwise, how would you manage with another 50,000 members all at once I ask myself.

Well I am the one that lured Shen from Bonnie Scotland down to Leicestershire....guilty no not at all. He has a lot to answer for I can tell you.

Leaving present just after he moved in with me 30,000 bees. What happened to flowers I ask myself?

Now he is trying to convert me to this cycling lark, I ask you what can a woman do but to go along with it all

Luring someone to Leicestershire? You must have some charm! :)

You're very welcome here - and, as for the cycling - just relax & let it happen. You'll be a bikenut before you know it! ;)
