Hi, thanks to Ravenbait for introducing me to the 'The Club', currently i'm not entirely sure what 'The Club' is and get the impression of the cyclist version of fight club. If it's your first night you have to...ride. Not quite the same. Anyway hello from a Edinburgh cyclist, residing near the Col du Leith, I have been off the bike recently as i've tried my hand at running a marathon (boring) and it's got in the way of good honest biking. Hoping to get some buddies to break me gently back into some decent rides, and maybe a few beers and pasta bakes.

Cheers, Don

PS, I do most kinds of riding with trundling around town on my singlespeed, finicky road bike and a poor neglected mountain bike.

Pull up a chair and ring for Jarvis. Newcomers are traditionally welcomed with hot buttered crumpets and a stiff gin. :smug:

I've not had my mountain bike out of the spare room this year. I'm getting lazy in my old age I guess.

Hi, welcome to the forum. Are you coming to the Dumb Run?

Welcome! Pop into the bar & make yourself comfortable. Jarvis has a fine range to choose from

I have a freewheel on mine too; if someone wants to flatten out all the hills and get rid of the traffic lights I might, might consider using a fixed wheel ;)
