I seem to have become a cyclist. I even own a bike, and go riding on it! And the engine is powered by cake, not petrol!

It totally blame Ravenbait.. and AndyGates.. and Puzzle.. and all of you.

Ha ha.

Knew it would happen! Hence me doing a double-take every time Puzzle said "I don't want to buy anything until I'm sure I like it." How could you not like it?

Welcome. This isnt' the busiest cycling forum out there and we tend more towards chat than anything technical, but that's not to say we're lacking in technical expertise. We even have our own engineer (although he's not around much these days).

Sam

Ravenbait must take a lot of the blame for getting me back in the saddle again as well.
She's good like that!

What new bike? Already? I've only had a bike 3 months, if that.. And its already had surgery with a Dremel cutting disk :)

Although I'll confess to looking longingly at various matt black bikes on the road and in shops, theres very little I need to change right now. Maybe a better saddle.. I'd probably prefer drop bars, but can live with flat ones for now..

I'll think seriously about another bike when this one can't keep up with me.

It's a slippery slope, and there is no way back.

But you're in good company here.

Yeah, I used to say that, but you see, while I have no need for a carbon-fibre rocket, I do need just enough utility bike, and just enough race bike, and just enough folder... and those are three different beasts. :evilchuffy:

Just spent £180 on Spa Cycles site for rebuilding the tourer...
The excuse is the 953 with narrow tyres is no good for riding the Monsal Trail through the railway tunnels ](*,)

No trails, no camping trips...... er, no that's not on the fun list. I've got an old Viscount sports frame that may yet end up as a fixed for this winter so that might make three
Just hope "She" doesn't notice the bank statement. [-o<
