I too have issues with the Embra CM, it just isn't a whole lot of fun, and its full of too many Riks out to hold up the cars. When they started circling the roundabout at the top of Leith Walk, I decided just to leave.

An Embra get-together though, that I would do. :)

Also can't do CM (anywhere) for work reasons, but a get-together in Embra would be very acceptable indeed :c+cool:

Actually, it's about time we had an Embra get-together. There are a few of us in the area. What's the Embra CM like? Anyone know?

Sam

S.L.O.W., I gather. And small. And (on the evidence of Will's post) idiotic.

CM, that is. (Not Anth, who is neither. Hi Anth. *cheery wave*)

The Arthur's Seat Challenge, on the other hand, is always there ...

Remind me. Is that the 3 lap time trial?

That could be a hoot.

The "official" challenge is just once up the vicious steep bit from St Margarets Loch to Dunsappie Loch. Flying starts allowed ...

I'm wondering if I can goad Firstborn up it on his Like-a-Bike-alike

Probably cruel and unusual.

The flat bit of Holyrood Park (behind Brenda's hoose and close to the start of the challenge) is big and flat enough for kite-flying, too.

Sounds WONDERFUL!! :D

Can I do that bit? I can probably cycle on the flat, too... must get out on the wheels before I'm totally unfit again...
