I've been having words with Jarvis, and the latest influx of processed meat merchants is giving us a headache. What we've done is dial down the defence grid by changing the number of registration attempts permitted from 5 to 3, which might limit the bots' capacity for sneaking past the visual confirmation requirement. If that doesn't work then what I might have to do is stop people from being able to confirm their own registrations and make that an admin function. I really don't want to do that, but I was actually enjoying being spam-free and have just realised how nice it was not to have to come looking for bots with a flamethrower every day.

Bah.

A rash of the buggers this morning, sad to say. Flamethrowers are too good for 'em.

The forum is now... pacified.

Another couple of entries added to the banlist.

Just been making use of a very handy website that I found whilst running background checks on the new members.

The last new member clocked nearly 40 entries when I plugged their e-mail address in!

Terminated with extreme prejudice.
