Sam,

I think in order to instill some discipline in the embers of this forum, we need to hold a kangaroo court try fairly and convict all those who failed to support your club weekend away.

As legal adviser i will happily try & convict all those with or without a good excuse for missing the event.

I have already conducted the trial of myself and was acquitted on a technicality

I don't think your sexual orientation is relevant to the offence you have committed and are to be given a fair trial for before sentence is passed

Excellent suggestion, Mr Spen.

And your fee for your generous and expert services?

Sam

My cat will only allow me to have time off from my position as Cat Chaise Longue for two activities:

1. Work - in order to earn money with which to buy cat food
2. Cycle - in order to take said money and fill panniers with cat food

I am ordered to return as soon as possible after each errand. If I am tardy, he starts to chew the remote controls.

I am not permitted to stay out overnight or he goes into a food strike and spends the night howling.

May I have an acquittal?

The punishment is on a sliding scale depending on the severity of the charge and whether or not the defendant pleads guilty.

I thought thee punishment depended on how much of a hangover I had on the morning of the trial/ sentencing

I would like to infor the club that in order to be more efficient and reduce the cost of these kangaroo courts, we are henceforth going to abolish the trials and proceed straight to sentencing after charging.

There is little need for a trial as you will be found guilty
