Indeed it was- a nice return to cycling after 5 weeks off owing to work/holiday and injury.

A cycle to work in pouring rain and with a head wind - and it was wonderful.

I confess I chickened out of taking the bike out this afternoon after my swim, having already suffered in the hurricane force winds of last week. Today we not only have a gale but we've got freezing rain as well :-({|=

Should have taken the bike swimming- would be just like riding in the rain this morning- ceertainly no wetter
