There should be devolution in the club - all the Jocks, Paddies & Druids should have their own rooms and once they've gone in to them, we should lock the doors, brick up the windows etc and enjoy the extra space

[stands back and waits for the flack]

Oh and the scousers should just be evicted

[thinks its now time to take the tongue out of my cheek]

Hmmm. So what would you do with an Anglo-Welsh citizen of Scotland, legally bound to a German national? And their offspring?

Anyway - devolution's not about absolute partitions (even if that's how the UK media represent it).

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devolution

<Quote>Devolution or home rule is the statutory granting of powers from the central government of a state to government at national, regional, or local level. It differs from federalism in that the powers devolved may be temporary and ultimately reside in central government, thus the state remains, de jure, unitary. </quote>

So long as the approach is TASTEFUL...

Scots are exempt from locking up (except at their express consent of course) in my book... but then I'm a Scot, what would you expect?! :c+wink:
