What a smashin' ride - couldn't have worked out better! There were some weary riders at St. Andrews, but everyone did brilliantly. Just uploading my phone photos to photobucket...

Well done :claps: :claps:
We got to the stone circle OK, but the sun didn't :cry: First time for at least 10 years the sunrise has been clouded out.
Oh well, there were hares & owls ans stuff, and the new lights worked well. Schmidt & IQ Cyo good for 35+ down Curbar Gap (I was providing light for those with roadie "get me home" lamps). :mrgreen:

Mmm yes, thanks for;

A) waking me up to get on the train.
B) making sure I was awake to get off at Dalmeny.

:oops:

Well, now we've proved that it's possible, it might be time to brace for the legions!

Yeah, it was a good ride. Thanks for everything – the organising, the navigation, the company, the food and drinks, and the emergency mechanical repair. I don’t think I’d do the ride again if Andy wasn’t there!

Strange how my spoke snapped immediately after I’d refused the whisky and beef jerky…!

Belated congratulations on nailing it. Chapeaux, one and all.

I'm breathing a huge sigh of relief, as I was starting to worry that the only way to break the jinx would be to sacrifice the guilty namer to the midges (or worse) ...

For all those Dumbrunners still confused by this year's motivational phrases, may I present Ebichu the housekeeping hamster and John Freeman.
