Saturday closest to the Summer Solstice.

Ride through the shortest night into an early dawn over the Froth. Beautiful :D .

Dr RJ's birthday on the longest day...

... and the Saturday closest is likely to host the LEPA Embra - St Andrews ride, I think.

The first is only a problem for me (and I'll struggle for a pass anyway); the second would be a bit more of a problem if I'm right about the LEPRA date ...

The westcountry devils have posted a date of 30th June into 1st July. My calendrical prognostications aren't up to much, but I don't think that's the weekend closest to the Solstice - that would be the 23rd / 24th June.

Does this mean I can do both? :D

And the bogsnorkel tri the weekend after? :D

The LEPRA ride 2007 is the 16th, so it doesn't clash.

And Frood has offered to run a tea van for halfway :P

I'm tempted by this run, though I've never popped my long-distance cherry yet, so to speak.
