You has a manytude of seedlings. 8)

Have you got a greenhouse for those squashes? It's going to be a tad early to get them out, unless you've got cover. I used a clear plastic bag supported on a few sticks last year and that worked surprisingly well....

Oh and the allotment forum....Useful advice sometimes, but jeez it's full of muppets who can't string a sentence together.

Indeed life is bursting forth!

No greenhouse, but I do have a cloche/cold frame type thing (basic plastic cover thinggie) and I have a utility room tacked on to the side of the house which is going to become a sort of greenhouse. MrWC has his orders!

Alligators* are the thing...

Big plasticky hoop shaped tunnels for protecting the young seedlings! 8)

(*name shamelessly stolen from a tale of a very young Sorceress's report to daddy on return from the Garden Centre..)

Due to knee problems (intense hurty, hurty) there's no cycling at the moment. Which is a definite BAH! To keep the BAH! under control, I've been sorting out the growing things.

My little helper - a miner bee nest entrance. Must remember to NOT dig it up..

The veg plot so far - many bean plants

The 'greenhouse' - had to repot stuff..

Mind you all this planting out, repotting, sit down, get up, sit down, get up, carry plants, dig.. can't be doing my knees any good either. Glad TA has done the heavy digging for me

I have a look on the Metcheck web site every day to keep an eye on the expected temps. But I have a replacement crop in small paper pots recently planted 'just-in-case' over the next month.
