I'm tempting fate here....

On the basis that we sign the contract on our new place tomorrow afternoon, and I'm competing in the Tranent Sprint on the morning of the 22nd, I hereby propose a "Frood and RB come to Embra" drinkie at the aforementioned establishment.

I should be done at Tranent by around lunchtime. So, back home, get the kit sorted out....

Shall we say mid to late afternoon? Times can be confirmed after I have discussed said plans with his Froodliness.

All Embra types and anyone wishing to travel from further afield welcome. Only we'll still be far too disorganised to have kipping space I'm afraid.

Sam

'ang on! Have I missed something? Whereabouts are you moving to?

Not been in the Pond, but it used to sell Erdinger loooooong before anyone else and is now, I believe, a Wiehenstephan bar.

I'm going to be in Aberdeen of course... :(

Well yes, and it's a damned sight easier if you're in Granton! (that bit was getting posh like... )

Unless my new bike has arrived, you shall hear my arrival outside the pub with the squeal of brake pad on chromed steel rims. Unless its wet, when I probably won't stop.

Sorry, the link won't work automatically. I tried.

Its very casual, though I would avoid lycra and roadie shoes in that area of town on a Saturday night.

The RJ household be in a [someone else's] budget-underspend translation frenzy (in other words gott-gettit-done by the end of March, "it" being a way-more-than-sensible amount of work).

In other words, I'm unlikely to get a pass this time - but have a rocking good one ...

Go to the bottom of Leith, turn right towards Seafield and keep going until you see the bright green, tatty-looking place on the corner.

Do we have an official time for this, or will I just head along after work and a bite to eat?
