Right chaps and chapesses. We can't sit on our arses all winter bemoaning the inhospitable weather and lack of sunshine. That's no way to carry on!

I suggest we put in motion some plans for some Winter sociables, mostly revolving around mulled wine (or some other beverage) and mince pies.

We might even get a couple of good days before the weather turns truly norrid. So who's up for something? I might have got my legs back in a couple of weeks (first day back on the bike yesterday in 3 weeks and I'm off again for another week owing to being on-call until next Wednesday).

Sam

We might be doing the Forth Finale at the start of November....

While Guitar Hero is taking up a lot of my time, I could manage something.

Guitar Hero takes up a lot of our time as well. You should come round and ROCK.

I'm on call from now until next Wednesday morning.

But you could come round and rock anyway, if you like.

I had a thought, chaps. How about a wee trip to Glentress? I can't do the technical stuff because I am binocularly challenged, but the off-road whizzes could bugger off and kill themselves to death on the black runs while those of us who are less experienced could have a sedate but fun time getting muddy on the blue ones. We could have a picnic!

Sounds good to me. Though the weather this weekend is a fail. I just cancelled a trip there tomorrow.

The weather today is epic fail. I'm not going out in that!

I am definitely partial to the odd mince pie, sounds a great idea Sam.

Bump.

So, who fancies Glentress on Saturday, and some beer action Saturday night?

GT would have to be early to take advantage of the short amount of daylight. Obviously that isn't an issue for the pub.

I can understand no response to the GT suggestion, but turning down a pub visit? What is happening to this club?
