Just spotted that LEPRA have inconsiderately decided to hold the Embra - St Andrews on the same day as the Dumb Run this year. Again.

However, thought I'd put it up for all those in the Frozen North Contingent who are too scared to join us on our cost to coast  .

Well, look on the bright side. It sets up a possible Janetta's ice-cream challenge: can the Dumb Runners empty the shop before the hungry LEPRA hordes arrive.

Scratch that. Wrong way round. Bad idea.

I'll be unable to do either ride, due to Saturday moning childcare commitments, followed by Dr RJ's solstice birthday. I'm not cycling to St Andrews with FirstBorn in a childseat ...

There's a certain appeal in timing it such that we breeze into the LEPRA peloton with a "what ho, chaps, nicely warmed up!"

Unless they're incredibly slow, they'll be done a good 3 hours before we've started!

So that gives the more intrepid folk an opportunity to do both, then??
I might not do both though.....
