Just sticking this in the calendar now. Will and I are planning on trying to get in a decent ride every couple of weeks, because this year, by gods, we're going to make it to St Andrews. Even if that means ahem actually doing some training!

Frood and I both enjoyed the civilised, stay in bed late, meet just after lunch and still have time to ride. So we'll be looking to replicate that if poss.

Distance of around 45 miles this time? Much longer than that and Frood won't come. Next time we can bump it up to 60 and he can go climbing or something.

I know, I know. I almost feel guilty for suggesting we do anything so organised.

But, dammit, I refuse to be beaten this year [-( :c+angry: !

Dunblane to Edinburgh is about 50 miles. How does that sound?

Suits me but let me check with himself. That might be verging on too far for him  .

Dundee - Kirkcaldy should work out at about 40, 45 though.

We have the option to only go to Stirling, which is closer to 40 miles.
