The Club

Does anyone still use this place? It has seen no activity in months and if no one is using it there's not a lot of point in me paying to keep it. I've already let the Intrepid Sorority domain lapse and no one cared. Do we want to keep this board/domain/whatever? Or are you all merrily chatting away on other fora and have no interest in this one any more?

I'll freely confess that the frequency of my checking-in to this establishment has tailed off of late, partly because there hasn't been much happening. The trouble is, everyone else sees that others are posting less and check in more infrequently themselves - the negative feedback loop resulting in fewer than two dozen of us checking in during this year...

It will be a shame if Jarvis politely suggests that it's last orders at the club house bar, but entirely understandable.

So I've spent tonight reading a few threads for old time's sake...

I think it's just that people have other places to go. Chuffy's the Road CC poster boy and everyone else is over at YACF or CycleChat. I stopped being able to keep up with CycleChat ages ago and YACF doesn't feel especially welcoming. If that's where folks prefer to hang out that's fair enough. I don't have the time or the freedom of internet access to participate properly in those forums so I'd rather not try. I don't mind if we don't get much traffic here, but if we're getting none at all that suggests no one wants it.

Sam, I check in fairly infrequently and tend to be on YACF if anywhere.

I'm hoping to get a few more projects off the ground (no, not literally, Andy) this year. Would you mind if I repost some of the 'Tales form the Wobbly Workshop' stuff to get any body who doesn't know me up to speed?

I haven't been checking in anywhere really as I have been quite busy with work, mainly with the BTO in Norfolk. There is still quite a clean up to do on the reserve before Summer due to the really crap weather lately.
